Blue Shield of California

This project was part of Blue Shield of California’s 2023 Medicare Educational Series, built in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to guide members through coverage options and enrollment timing. I developed the template using SFMC content blocks and reusable components, making it easy for the team to swap in different educational assets like booklets and videos while keeping layout and branding consistent. Because this was a regulated healthcare campaign, the build was designed to remain fully CAN-SPAM and HIPAA compliant while still feeling clear and approachable for a broad audience.

 

On the technical side, I focused on accessibility and reliability, including proper alt text, email-safe layouts, and defensive HTML and CSS for inconsistent client rendering. The template was tested across major clients using Litmus and Email on Acid to catch spacing, typography, and stacking issues before launch. The result was a compliant, reusable framework the team could rely on for ongoing educational sends.
